Available Positions at PARC
1. Member (Natural Resources) – 1 Post
This role leads research in natural resources management. It also covers related policy work.
2. Member (Animal Sciences) – 1 Post
This role leads research in animal sciences. It includes national-level planning and program management.
Eligibility Criteria & Required Qualifications
Both posts share the same requirements. Candidates must meet all points below:
- PhD in a relevant field. The degree must be from an HEC-recognized university.
- First Division or CGPA 3.00+ in the highest degree. No more than one second division or Grade C is allowed in the whole academic career.
- At least 20 years of experience. This experience must be in R&D or research/higher-learning institutions. Public or private sectors both count.
- Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary teams of scientists.
- At least 15 research publications. These must be in HEC-recognized journals or books.
- Strong leadership in strategic planning. This includes implementation and management of agricultural research programs.
- A clear record of managing financial and human resources well.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Single nationality only. Dual nationality holders cannot apply.
Terms of Appointment
- The first contract runs for three years. It can extend by two more years, based on performance.
- Maximum age limit: 62 years. This follows the MP policy 2020.
- Government employees must resign or take early retirement first. This applies before joining the MP scale post.
- Only Pakistani nationals can apply.
